How do I get Carston out from behind the glass?
1 of 11: There's someone around who can give you some hints.
2 of 11: One person is an apprentice, who can be found lying dying in the Illithid area.
3 of 11: You can also get hints from the red dragon in the Githyanki area, and a more direct hint from a scrap of parchment found on the Githyanki Captain.
4 of 11: Apparently, you have to find a crystal mallet of some kind.
5 of 11: It can be found through the door with the torches around it.
6 of 11: Once you're through the door, you'll have to fight Rock and Garock, two tough Minotaur fighters.
7 of 11: Now is a good time to use some of those nice fighter abilities if you have them.
8 of 11: Once Rock and Garock are dead, remove the trap from the bottom safe, and take the crystal mallet. The other safe contains a clay golem page, which can upgrade your golem manual.
9 of 11: Once you have the mallet, go back to Carston, and use the glass.
10 of 11: Hit it six times, and the glass will shatter.
11 of 11: You can either kill Carston or spare him. Sparing him will gain you one rep point.
