Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal Hints
The Third Trial (Spirit Warrior)
of 8: This trial is the most complicated, but it's not really that difficult, and it's a lot of fun.
of 8: In this little "mini-game" you control a spirit warrior, who moves around a grid of squares and can perform various actions.
of 8: All you really need to do here is search every room you get to and do everything you can.
of 8: Be sure to search the room where you kill the wild dog to get an iron key. The key will open a chest in the northeast corner that will heal your spirit warrior for the final battle.
of 8: Also, be sure to open ALL the chests and containers the game allows you to. You need most of it to survive in the combats.
of 8: Once you've explored everywhere, go to the top of the maze, and pass through the archway.
of 8: You'll have to fight a mummy here. If you picked up the Wand of Missiles from the chest in the southeast corner, use it here, and then just attack, and if you're all healed, you'll win.
of 8: Once you beat the mummy, you'll get a key to open a seal.
