Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal Hints

I've been attacked by a Bhaalspawn, Illasera

  • 1 of 7: Yep, and she's hell-bent on killing you.
  • 2 of 7: The game was nice enough to give you some time to prepare before she attacks, so use it well.
  • 3 of 7: Thieves should hide in shadows, and mages should cast some protection spells.
  • 4 of 7: Once Illasera arrives, talk to her, and then you're stuck in the inevitable combat.
  • 5 of 7: Don't bother with her henchmen -- they're little more than an annoyance. Go for Illasera instead.
  • 6 of 7: She usually casts Mirror Image, which is destroyed fairly easily with a Dispel Magic or a good old-fashioned Fireball. Of course, if you're not a mage, you'll just have to attack her and watch.
  • 7 of 7: She'll go down pretty easily, no big deal. Once she dies you'll be transported back to the Plane of Bhaal, from the original BG2, except this time, there's a bit more to do.
