2 of 4: If you can't find it in the orbit look for a big lump of ice. A fin should be visible.
3 of 4: Shoot away the ice with your normal weapon (NOT the neutralizer cannon) to free the whale.
4 of 4: Once the whale produces bubbles around him, you can take your last photo.
