How do I get past the Phyxx soldier?

  • 1 of 12: You're not going to be able to kill it through combat before the reactor overloads.
  • 2 of 12: But you might be able to find another more creative way of killing it.
  • 3 of 12: Try shutting down the reactor, and you'll get another hint as to how you can kill it.  (But save your game first!)
  • 4 of 12: Unlock both of the pylons, and the creature will go to the other side of the reactor.  Follow it and see what happens.
  • 5 of 12: The creature turns off the bridge and sends you into the middle of the reactor.  You want to try to do the same to it.
  • 6 of 12: But in its present state of mind, it's not going to want to stray far from the controls.
  • 7 of 12: You can probably get it angry enough to make it want to chase you, though.
  • 8 of 12: The first thing you need to do is try to hurt it.
  • 9 of 12: Even though this creature is supposedly immune to blaster fire, if you shoot it a couple of times with a blaster, it will get angry.
  • 10 of 12: You can make it even angrier if you start to shut down the reactor.
  • 11 of 12: Unlock one of the two pylons, and the creature will chase you wherever you go.
  • 12 of 12: Cross the bridge (I'd recommend running), and then turn off the bridge while the creature is still on it.  The creature will then fall to its death.
