Bioshock Hints
How can I get this one open? It doesn't have any visible controls.
1 of 8: Have you looked around in the two small side areas?
2 of 8: You won't find any controls, but exploring the side areas will get a thuggish splicer to appear out of nowhere and run around a bit.
3 of 8: NOTE: You may have to run through the side areas several times to get him to appear. You'll know he has when you get a radio message from Atlas.
4 of 8: Have your Electro Bolt plasmid out and ready, then look around cautiously for him.
5 of 8: When you see him, zap him with one Electro Bolt to briefly paralyze him.
6 of 8: Then quickly switch to the wrench to finish him off. That works really well, and uses less EVE than zapping him twice.
7 of 8: As soon as he goes down, run over to the Securis door, since it'll be rising up.
8 of 8: Use the same "one-two" combo attack on the splicer behind the door to finish him off, too.
