PC Cheat Codes

• Using Microsoft Notepad or Wordpad, load up the file DefUser.ini, which will be in the Builds\Release directory under your Bioshock install directory (which is probably under Program Files\2K Games).
  
  Search the file for the first occurrence of the key name that you want to use to set up a cheat. For instance, search for "f10" (w/o quotes) to find the first "f10=" line. There are many other such lines farther down, but you shouldn't bother with them. Set the keys you want to use equal to cheat codes from the list below so you can use those keys while playing to turn the code's effect on. For example, if you want F10 to toggle invincibility, then change the first "f10=" line in the file to "f10=god".
  
  * god - toggle invincibility
  * ghost - turn no-clipping mode on
  * fly - turn flying mode on
  * walk - cancel effects of the ghost and fly codes
  * teleport - teleport yourself around (aim the cursor and then press the key)
  * igbigbucks - fills your wallet to the $500 limit
  * givebioammo - refills your EVE line
  * givehealth - refills your health line
  * killpawns - all nearby enemies vanish
  * suicide - kills you and sends you to the nearest Vita-Chamber
  * slowmo - extreme slow motion (*not* like the SlowMo power in F.E.A.R. -- do not use!)
  
  NOTE: If you've redefined any keys in the game, those redefinings won't be reflected in the key bindings you see in the DefUser.ini file. In fact, editing that file will make any redefinings you've done in the game go away, and you'll have to redo them.
  
  NOTE: Ongoing cheat effects like invincibility and flying mode are canceled by cut-scenes and by moving from one game section to another.
