Splicer Combat Tips

  • 1 of 8: Your best bet for avoiding serious injury is to immediately retreat back to the other (east) end of the corridor that's next to the control panel room.
  • 2 of 8: Get your machine gun out and wait for the splicers to rush in through the nearby door one at a time.
  • 3 of 8: To save a bit on machine gun ammo, you could Electro-Bolt them first, then quickly machine gun them down (or use pistol head shots).
  • 4 of 8: NOTE: You can't really depend on your security bot to help a lot with the shooting, but do keep it active and nearby in case it can help a little bit.
  • 5 of 8: When they stop coming, search the ones you killed, then go into crouch mode and sneak out the door and down the stairs.
  • 6 of 8: With your pistol out, slowly sneak back to where the door leading to the foyer is, ready to shoot splicers as they hear you and appear.
  • 7 of 8: When you reach the door to the foyer, look for several splicers to be at the top of the stairs on the other side.
  • 8 of 8: Try to snipe them with pistol bullets from the doorway, dodging back under cover to avoid being shot. Hopefully, your security bot will be a big help in shooting them down.
