Splicer Attack Tips
of 6: Have a route of retreat planned out before you take the shotgun, since the lights will all go out for a moment, which can be disorienting.
of 6: You could try retreating to the nearby Vita-Chamber alcove and blasting splicers with the shotgun as they approach you.
of 6: NOTE: Reload the shotgun as soon as you pick it up so you can have four shells ready when the splicers start attacking.
of 6: The best thing to do if you've been in Painless Dental and hacked its turret is to run down the SW corridor, since it goes past the windows the turret can see and shoot through.
of 6: Also, that corridor has water on the floor, so you can easily Electro-Bolt any splicers who get past the turret. (Though you'll also take some damage from the bolt effects.)
of 6: Another way is to run into the Painless Dental area and crouch behind the counter that the turret is on, using the shotgun or whatever to shoot splicers as they run behind the counter after you.
