Bioshock Hints
Painless Dental Tips
1 of 14: You'll find the doors to the Painless Dental area along the south wall of the big room with the shotgun in it, but you can't get the doors open from this side.
2 of 14: So go down the corridor to the west to find another way in.
3 of 14: There are several windows along one wall, but there's also a turret inside that can shoot at you through them.
4 of 14: Once inside, you can use the control to the right of the doors to unlock them for easier access.
5 of 14: Find the register and electric buck ammo on the shelves behind the turret, then follow the bandage trail into the next room.
6 of 14: When you first enter that room, you'll get a face full of steam. After it clears, look around.
7 of 14: In the SE corner of that room is a desk. When you approach it, you'll be frozen in place and get another faceful of steam.
8 of 14: As soon as it clears, turn around and Electro-Bolt the splicer who's appeared right behind you, then whack him with the wrench.
9 of 14: Now you can take stuff off the desk, including the Speedy Hacker engineering tonic.
10 of 14: NOTE: You don't have to deal with the sneaky splicer to get the stuff off of the desk. You can reach it all from up on the higher floor next to it.
11 of 14: Check along the east wall to find a grate down at floor level that you can bash out with the wrench while crouching next to it.
12 of 14: Go through the small pipe crawlway past the grate to find another one to bash.
13 of 14: Quickly switch to the pistol and shoot the red gas cylinder that the splicer is near until it blows up and kills her, making it safe to enter the room.
14 of 14: Search the room to find an automatic hack tool and some other stuff, then use the control to the right of the doors to open a shortcut way to leave.
