Bioshock Hints

Upper Plaza Floor Tips

  • 1 of 13: After finishing with the lower floor, find the two sets of stairs in its northern section and go up either one of them.
  • 2 of 13: First off, find the big hole in the north wall and use Telekinesis to grab the canister of rare electric gel ammo that's in it.
  • 3 of 13: Find the door to the upper floor of "Sir Prize Games of Chance" nearby, then smash its left window if you want the cash (and don't mind the security alarm).
  • 4 of 13: The only things on Sir Prize's upper floor, besides lots of slot machines and maybe a splicer or two, are the crossbow and trap bolt ammo in the NE corner.
  • 5 of 13: Go back outside and to the south to find an alcove with a dumb fortune-teller machine and a health station to hack.
  • 6 of 13: You'll be going into Rapture Records later on in this goal, so skip it and go down to the south end of this floor to find an entrance to the Pharaoh's Fortune Casino.
  • 7 of 13: As with Sir Prize, you can smash the left display window to get some money and hostile security bots, or you can just go on inside.
  • 8 of 13: There's a security camera on the casino's upper floor that might see you down on the lower floor, so move forward slowly while looking up.
  • 9 of 13: When you see the camera, quickly shoot it out with armor-piercing rounds.
  • 10 of 13: Two splicers will run down the stairs to attack you, so be ready to eliminate them with napalm, the freeze-and-shatter method, or whatever you're in the mood for.
  • 11 of 13: Look around the lower casino floor for lootable corpses, spare cash, and a tough-to-hack safe behind a counter, then head up the stairs to the upper floor.
  • 12 of 13: Up there, you'll find some pistol ammo and an EVE hypo on a couch, a first aid kit on a pool table, a health station, and a few other bits of miscellany.
  • 13 of 13: That's about it for the top floor. You haven't been down its east hallway yet, but trust me, you don't want to go down it yet. (The two turrets at its east end will be dealt with while working on another goal.)
