Big Daddy and Little Sister Research Tips

  • 1 of 7: After you get the camera, go back and photograph the big daddies and their little sisters until you can't get any more photos, then attack the big daddies.
  • 2 of 7: You can usually get the action bonus if you photograph big daddies after getting too close to their little sisters. They won't actually attack you at that point, but they will make a few threatening moves toward you which will count as action.
  • 3 of 7: Another way to get the action bonus is if you photograph big daddies as they fight splicers.
  • 4 of 7: As for the little sisters, you can photograph them either before attacking their big daddy or after he's dead.
  • 5 of 7: If you're very patient, you can gain all the little sister research bonuses right after getting the camera.
  • 6 of 7: To do that, photograph a little sister as much as possible, then follow her and her big daddy around until she crawls into a wall hole for a nap. Keep following the big daddy until he wakes the little sister up again, at which time you can get some more photos of her. Keep that up, and you'll eventually get all the little sister research bonuses.
  • 7 of 7: If you've been rescuing little sisters and have the Hypnotize Big Daddy plasmid, you can speed up that process by using that plasmid on a big daddy to get the little sister to immediately head for the nearest wall hole. After the plasmid wears off, follow the big daddy until he summons the little sister back, then photograph her, use the plasmid again, etc.
