Bioshock Hints
How can I get to the smugglers' hideout?
1 of 9: Check your map screen.
2 of 9: You see that tunnel-looking passage that leads off west from the "freezer bottom floor" area? You need to find its entrance.
3 of 9: Looking west from the weapon upgrade machine, you'll see an iced-over "Ice Princess" door.
4 of 9: Use the Incinerate plasmid on the ice to melt it so you can go through the door. (If you need to switch your active plasmids, remember that there's a Gene Bank machine back in the freezer area where you fought Peach.)
5 of 9: In the back of the room past the "Ice Princess" door, you'll see two ghosts walk out of a frozen-over hole in the wall.
6 of 9: That's the secret tunnel entrance, so de-ice it.
7 of 9: Note that you only have to hit the central mound of ice with Incinerate, and can leave the left and right ice mounds alone.
8 of 9: After the central ice is melted, you can crouch-walk through the wall hole and into the tunnel beyond.
9 of 9: To reach the Smugglers' Hideout region, just go along the tunnel until the region loads. (See its hints for the continuation of this goal.)
