Houdini Splicer Tips
1 of 10: These guys are serious pains because they attack with fireballs, and they can vanish and then reappear elsewhere.
2 of 10: Have your research camera out and in zoom mode when you go through the Tea Garden's NE doors so you can quickly snap a picture of the houdini splicer before he runs off. The picture will probably only get a C grade, but it should be enough to get you the first research bonus (vulnerability to antipersonnel rounds).
3 of 10: Turn to the right after the houdini runs off, and you'll see his shadow on the wall ahead.
4 of 10: Run over there, then turn right and walk up to the table with the money and lockbox on it.
5 of 10: Get the shotgun out and stand there facing the table until the lights flicker. (You may have to look directly at the money to get this to happen.)
6 of 10: The houdini splicer is about to materialize behind you, so quickly turn around and give him a shotgun blast to the head. If you do it right, he should lose most of his health.
7 of 10: Go back through the doorway that leaves this room, then follow the houdini up some steps. (Don't bother shooting him again yet, but do try to take his picture a couple of times.)
8 of 10: After you go through a door at the top of the steps, turn around and back up slowly.
9 of 10: When the houdini splicer appears in front of you, quickly rush forward and blast him in the head to kill him before he can get off a fireball.
10 of 10: NOTE: It is possible to use Telekinesis to grab onto and return a houdini's fireballs, but that's never the quickest or safest way to deal with them. Try it sometime if you want to, though.
