of 8: He also locks all the doors that lead to other areas, so you can forget about going somewhere where the splicers can't surround you.
of 8: What you should do is get out the Enrage plasmid and either run for the hacked security camera near the southern vending machine, or find the big daddy and stick close to it.
of 8: Use Enrage to get splicers to fight among themselves and to fight the big daddy. (Watch out that you don't hit the big daddy with Enrage at any point -- that's far too easy to accidentally do.)
of 8: The shotgun is a good weapon to use on splicers when they get too close.
of 8: You shouldn't expend too much effort, ammo, or EVE to kill these splicers. If they kill you, you'll appear in the atrium's Vita-Chamber, and can continue the battle until killed again, and so on. No need to burn through first aid kits or bust a bunch of fancy moves.
of 8: Also, if you have the Natural Camouflage tonic (see the Research Tips), you can just stand in a corner near the hacked security camera and watch invisibly as bots take care of all the splicers for you.
of 8: You'll know it's over when Cohen radios in to say that he's sorry for his "outburst." (But watch out for any leftover splicers that haven't been killed yet.)
