Bioshock Hints

The elevator is code-locked with no option to hack. How can I use it?

  • 1 of 7: You'll have to get the four-digit code.
  • 2 of 7: It's stored in an audio diary.
  • 3 of 7: Search the entire lobby area for the diary.
  • 4 of 7: You'll find it up on the third floor.
  • 5 of 7: It's near the SW corner of the floor, on the crate next to the dead photographer's setup. (Be sure to grab up the film if you haven't already.)
  • 6 of 7: As the diary will tell you, the code is 5744. Go enter that to gain elevator access.
  • 7 of 7: NOTE: You could've entered that code into the elevator and gone up to Fontaine's penthouse earlier, but the Lot 192 dose would've been just a "mysterious chemical" that you couldn't use.
