Maintenance Areas Tips

  • 1 of 8: Go to the NE corner of the Journey to the Surface's big entry room to find an open maintenance door.
  • 2 of 8: Past it, look for the Booze Hound tonic, a corpse, an audio diary, a toolbox, a searchable desk and filing cabinet, and several bottles of booze.
  • 3 of 8: Go down the track until you reach the big "CENSORHIP BUREAU" sign on the right, then look on the other side of the track for some stairs that lead to the museum's upper floor. (Note that you could have opened this maintenance door earlier by using the control to the right of it.)
  • 4 of 8: After shooting down any splicers you see in the museum, go back down the stairs and look around for any nearby explosive barrels.
  • 5 of 8: If you find any, use Telekinesis to carry them up the stairs and set them on the museum's upstairs oil spill.
  • 6 of 8: Farther along the track, there's a staircase in the puppet figure workshop's entry area that leads to the museum. Use it the same way you did the previous one.
  • 7 of 8: That's it for newly opened maintenance doors. Keep going along the track and checking for leftover supplies until you get back to the museum (or just use the second staircase to get there quicker).
  • 8 of 8: Use Telekinesis to arrange your explosive barrel collection in a spot between the upstairs oil spill and the nearby corpse. That'll make them maximally effective against the big sister that you're going to have to fight soon.
