Early Research Tips
1 of 5: A leadhead splicer should appear in the downtown area soon after you exit the pawn shop. Be sure to use the camera on him before you kill him so you'll get the first leadhead research reward.
2 of 5: Go around the downtown area with the camera out and use it on all the dead bodies that glow gold. You won't get much research progress for that, but it does help a little (and there's no limit to how much filming you can do).

4 of 5: TIP: With thuggish and leadhead splicers, you can always get an A+ research grade by hitting them with Electro Bolt and a drill whack.
5 of 5: IMPORTANT: Remember to always (or at least usually) use the camera on a hostile before attacking it, even if you don't plan to get all fancy with your attacks. You'll get at least some research progress each time. I won't constantly remind you to do that everywhere in future hints, so don't forget!
