Bioshock 2 Hints
Big Daddy and Little Sister Tips
1 of 10: After doing all of the above optionals, you'll have a powerful shotgun and lots of armor-piercing rounds for your machine gun. You should also have plenty of heavy rivets.
2 of 10: That means you're ready to go after the big daddy who's been stomping around the diner area unmolested all this time.
3 of 10: Loot him after he's dead, then adopt his little sister.
4 of 10: Go to the NW corner of the diner area to find the first ADAM corpse. Remember that bunches of splicers will attack during the ADAM extraction phase, so be ready for them. (Set trap rivets, use anti-personnel rounds, etc.)
5 of 10: NOTE: If you research some of the attacking splicers, you'll make lots of progress on your leadhead and thuggish splicer research. In fact, you should be able to max out both of them either here or with the next ADAM corpse. However, it's easy enough to max out your research on those splicers in other places with a bit of patience, so it's okay if you find doing research during ADAM harvests to be too difficult.
6 of 10: After the extraction is done, pick up your little sister and go find the second ADAM corpse in the downtown area.
7 of 10: It's the corpse that's a ways directly east of the health station. Extract ADAM from it and fight splicers as before, then pick up the little sister again.
8 of 10: The nearest wall vent is in the Fontaine Clinics building, so go there and either rescue or harvest the little sister.
9 of 10: Visit the Gatherer's Garden machine at the south end of the diner area to see what all you want to buy. (The health upgrade should be top priority, as should a couple of new tonic slots.)
10 of 10: NOTE: If you wait around, another big daddy will show up and summon another little sister out of a wall vent. It's best to wait until later to claim your second little sister, so let them be for now.
