Bioshock 2 Hints

Big Daddy and Little Sister Tips

  • 1 of 9: If you check the area map, you'll probably see a marker for another little sister in or near the diner area. This doesn't mean you can get a bonus little sister in this region -- it just means you have a choice as to which little sister to go for.
  • 2 of 9: The big daddy in the diner area is probably undamaged, but the one in the market area will still be damaged from the splicer attack that took place when you first entered. That makes him the best target.
  • 3 of 9: Stockpile some explosives to use against him with Telekinesis, or just lay into him with heavy rivets and/or armor-piercing machine gun rounds until he's down. (Don't forget to use the research camera on him right before your first attack.)
  • 4 of 9: NOTE: You could lead him to your hacked rocket turret, but don't let him destroy it -- it'll come in very handy in another tough combat.
  • 5 of 9: Even though you don't technically have to, you'll still want to adopt this little sister and have her collect ADAM from two different corpses.
  • 6 of 9: The nearest corpse is in the market area, right under your hacked security camera. That's convenient, since the camera can call in bots to help against the splicers who attack during the extraction.
  • 7 of 9: Your new Hypnotize plasmid can help a lot by making the splicers fight each other. Also, a lot of them come through the nearby pool of water to get to you, so Electro Bolt them.
  • 8 of 9: Another strategy is to stand in the doorway of the building to the south to make sure splicers can't surround you. Shoot from there, making sure to tag any splicers that run up to your little sister.
  • 9 of 9: The second ADAM corpse is in the downtown area, which you'll be returning to soon.
