1 of 3: This tonic isn't nearly as useful as it sounds, since it only very rarely emits a burst of fire when you're hit by a melee attack.
2 of 3: Besides, when it does decide to work, there's the danger of nearby big daddies getting damaged and turning hostile. Also, any hacked bots you have will be damaged (though they won't turn hostile), and any nearby explosive containers will catch fire and soon explode.
3 of 3: All in all, I'd say this one wasn't even worth picking up. Doing so will only clutter your gene bank unnecessarily.
