Bioshock 2 Hints
Defeat Simon Wales.
1 of 6: Quickly deploy a mini-turret on the floor near the bottom of the stairs, then retreat to the area that's under the stairs.
2 of 6: From there, you can help your mini-turret shoot splicers. If you find it too hard to shoot through the stairs, then strafe left to where they aren't in your way.
3 of 6: Splicers will find it very hard to enter the under-the-stairs area, so staying there is a great way to keep all the spider splicers off of you, including the super-powerful Simon Wales.
4 of 6: Go up to the pumping station's door to reopen it and lure more splicers in until they stop coming. (Don't go very far past the door, or it'll close and lock behind you.)
5 of 6: The only real danger to you in the under-the-stairs area are the leadhead splicers and Simon Wales' hacked bot, who can easily shoot you through the stairs. Be sure to shoot them down quickly when they appear.
6 of 6: The brute splicer and Simon Wales are the toughest opponents, but you can easily handle them by staying under the stairs and shooting them from there. (Use rocket spears to make things go much faster.)
