Bioshock 2 Hints
How can I get this door open?
1 of 8: There's no fizzly control panel to zap with Electro Bolt, so check around for other options.
2 of 8: Search the tool storage room that's just to the right of the closed door.
3 of 8: Among other things, you'll find a new weapon called a hack tool.
4 of 8: Looking through the window next to the work bench, you'll see that there's a door control device on the other side of the closed door.
5 of 8: You can't reach it, but you can hack it remotely by firing a hack dart at it with your new hack tool.
6 of 8: Move to where you can shoot a dart at the door control through the window's large hole.
7 of 8: Right after the dart hits, you'll have to do the new hacking minigame in order to open the door. (I sure miss the fun old "fluid through the pipeline" minigame from the original Bioshock.)
8 of 8: NOTE: If you're playing on the PC, you'll probably have to use the left mouse button to stop the needle, no matter what control the game tells you to use. (It told me to use the SPACEBAR, but it lied!)
