Bioshock 2 Hints
Combat and Supply Tips
1 of 11: Look in the room south of the Vita-Chamber for three splicers to kill.
2 of 11: Lure them into the water and hit them with Electro Bolt, then let your bots finish up. (Don't forget to keep repairing them.)
3 of 11: Loot the corpse in their room, then go down the long glass tunnel to find a corpse with a shotgun and two boxes of solid slug ammo next to it.
4 of 11: Load the solid slug ammo into your shotgun, then try it out on the two splicers who are at the safe in the next room. If you aim carefully, you should be able to kill both of them with one shot. (That's what solid slugs are good for -- ranged shooting of unarmored foes.)
5 of 11: Be sure to quicksave before trying to hack the safe they were fiddling with. Even if you have some hacking-related tonics spliced in, this is a very hard one. You'll probably just want to hit it with an auto-hack dart and be done with it.
6 of 11: Look on top of the safe for a beer bottle, then look next to it for chips and an EVE hypo.
7 of 11: Hack or bash the room's health station, then hack the vending machine. However, save the "Power to the People" weapon upgrade machine for later.
8 of 11: As you go down the next glass tunnel section, look for drill fuel and a splicer to kill. (Use Electro Bolt on him, since he'll probably be standing in water.)
9 of 11: In the next room, get the launcher from the wagon in the center of the room, then look near the wagon for a first aid kit, two frag grenades, and two money clips.
10 of 11: Go back to the weapon upgrade machine in the previous room and get one of the launcher's upgrades. (You'll probably want the clip size upgrade, though the damage immunity upgrade can be very useful, too.)
11 of 11: Get out the hack tool before you approach the wagon room's south door. Past it is the train station, in which two splicers are standing near a fizzly SMG turret. You'll want to dart-hack the turret and kill the splicers before entering the train station.
