Big Daddy Combat Tips
1 of 8: When you first enter, there'll be a spider splicer heckling the big daddy. He's not actually attacking, but he's at least not paying any attention to you yet.
2 of 8: Go partway down the aisle, then get out your research camera and wait for a houdini splicer to appear directly ahead of you.
3 of 8: Quickly research and kill him, then shoot down the leadhead splicer that enters the theater, plus the spider splicer.
4 of 8: After healing up, it'll be time to attack the big daddy.
5 of 8: You've got several frag grenades and prox mines for your new launcher weapon, so you might want to use it.
6 of 8: Set several prox mines in a cluster somewhere, then hit the big daddy with a frag grenade and lead him through the proxes.
7 of 8: If you don't want to kill him with launcher ammo exclusively, have armor-piercing rounds loaded in the machine gun to finish him off with.
8 of 8: Another way that works really well is to go to the restroom area's Gene Bank machine and splice in the Freezing Drill tonic. Fill up on drill fuel at the ammo vending machine at the north end of the theater area, then drill the big daddy to death. (Be ready to use armor-piercing rounds or frag grenades if you run out of drill fuel too soon.)
