Bioshock 2 Hints

Eleanor-Summoning Notes

  • 1 of 5: Eleanor is indestructible, so you don't ever need to worry about her getting injured or killed.
  • 2 of 5: However, she will eventually "time out" and disappear, and it'll cost you another entire EVE line (no matter how long or full it is) to summon her again.
  • 3 of 5: You'll want to use Eleanor for most if not all of the remaining combats of the game, so be sure to keep looking for loose EVE hypos and buying some from vending machines when you get low. Also, look for pools of water or waterfalls to stand in when summoning her, since that'll keep you from using a hypo.
  • 4 of 5: Once Eleanor has been summoned, you can toss her summon plasmid around to get her to run to where the plasmid hits. This can often be useful in getting her to run ahead of you and spot enemies before they spot you.
  • 5 of 5: Just because you can summon Eleanor for combats doesn't mean you won't also want to use Security Command 3 to summon elite security bots. They're a lot cheaper to summon, and can help keep enemies from turning their attention to you in large fights.
