Are there any advantages to using the keycode now?
1 of 4: It allows you to skip several goals and the whole Pink Pearl area.
2 of 4: However, that's more bad than good, since you'll be missing out on lots of loot and research opportunities.
3 of 4: But you can always go to the Pink Pearl later, and everything will work the same as if you'd gone there before opening the locked door.
4 of 4: The only real advantage to opening the door now would be if you hacked the nearby SMG turret instead of destroying it. If you visit the Pink Pearl first, the turret will automatically be destroyed when you return. However, if you open the door before visiting the Pink Pearl, the turret will be there to help shoot up the spider splicers.
