Bioshock 2 Hints
Lower Floor Supplies
1 of 6: Near the north end of the lower floor is a corpse with two money clips next to it.
2 of 6: To the south of it is a pack of trap rivets next to two vending machines, one of which specializes in ammo. Try to get a free item from the ammo machine while hacking it, but don't hack the other machine.
3 of 6: The reason to leave it unhacked is that there's a bot shutdown panel very close to it. As long as it remains unhacked, you can always come back and hit a red zone while doing its hacking minigame to summon two hostile bots, then run use the shutdown panel to deactivate the bots so you can hack them.
4 of 6: Get two bots now, then hack the health station that's on the other side of the wall that the vending machines are next to. Whether you get a free first aid kit or not, leave this health station unbashed -- it'll come in handy later on.
5 of 6: Look to the left of the health station for a trash can next to the stairs, then check against the south wall for two storage crates.
6 of 6: Return to the north end of the lower floor and use Telekinesis to pick up the explosive barrel that's on the oil spill. Carry it carefully up the stairs so you can drop it next to the explosive barrel that's on the upstairs oil spill. (As with the hacked health station, this will come in handy later on.)
