Where can I get a knife?
1 of 6: There's none lying around loose, so maybe you can get one from one of the traps.
2 of 6: Consulting the notebook reproduction that's in the diary, you'll see that the third-from-left slab has a knife picture associated with it.
3 of 6: Go down to the great hall and try clicking on the third-from-left slab.
4 of 6: Darren will narrowly avoid getting killed by a trap with sharp knives attached to it.
5 of 6: Look on the floor next to the slab after the trap rises back up to find that one its knives broke off.
6 of 6: Even though it's a broken-off blade with no handle, it'll do for the rope-cutting, so pick it up.
