How can I do the second favor?
1 of 6: Eddie told you he lost a cane at the hotel, so go back there and see if you can recover it. (Note that you can fast-travel there by clicking on the postcard's upper right picture.)
2 of 6: Enter the hotel and talk to the porter about the poker game.
3 of 6: That won't get you anything useful, but notice the topic is still there.
4 of 6: Ask him about the poker game again to get a different response.
5 of 6: Keep asking him about the poker game until you get Eddie's cane.
6 of 6: Return to the junk shop and click the cane on Eddie to complete the favor.
