Black Mirror II Hints
How can I get all the torn-up paper pieces put back together?
of 10: Right-click on them in inventory to bring up their puzzle screen.
of 10: They start out piled on top of each other, so the first thing to do is separate them out across the puzzle board's surface.
of 10: Then rotate them so the words you can see on them aren't upside-down or sideways. To rotate a piece, click on it to pick it up, then right-click to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise. Four rotations would bring it back to where it started.
of 10: NOTE: Exiting the puzzle screen will reset the whole thing, and you'll lose any progress you've made.
of 10: A few pieces don't have any words on them, so you won't be able to figure out how to rotate them at first. Once you've done all the rotations you can, group the pieces according to type: corner pieces, edge pieces, and middle pieces.
of 10: You can then start building up the border of the letter by connection the four corner pieces with edge pieces. It's easiest to start with the top left corner piece, which has most of the word "dearest" on it. The edge piece that goes to the right of it has the rest of the word "dearest" followed by the word "Claire."
of 10: NOTE: When you stick two pieces together that belong next to each other, they'll "glue" themselves together so that you can't separate them anymore.
of 10: Continue piecing edges and corners together until that's done, then get to work on the middle pieces.
of 10: It's not a very difficult puzzle, but check the graphic below to see where all the pieces go if you need some help. Note that white lines are drawn in between pieces to help make their boundaries stand out more.
