How can I power the laptop?

  • 1 of 8: You can't recharge its battery, so you'll need to provide it with an external source of power.
  • 2 of 8: Since the boat doesn't have power lines leading from shore out to it, it's a safe assumption that it has a generator on board. It's also a safe assumption that the generator is out of gas, since the laptop would otherwise have been running on its power instead of battery power.
  • 3 of 8: To find the generator, examine the seat on the right side of the screen to get a close-up view of it.
  • 4 of 8: Examine the seat again to notice the lock holding it in place, then examine the lock to learn that you'll need the key.
  • 5 of 8: Get the seat close-up view again and use the key on the lock to reveal the generator.
  • 6 of 8: Click on it a couple of times to learn it's out of gas, then look around for some gas to put in it.
  • 7 of 8: Return to the lower deck and get the seat's close-up view again, then use the gas can on the generator to refuel it.
  • 8 of 8: You can then click on the generator to get it going and restore power to the laptop.
