How can I reveal the invisible message?

  • 1 of 7: You'll need a stable source of heat (such as fire) to hold them over. The burning leaf pile gimmick is no good, so look for something else.
  • 2 of 7: Notice the small glass on the table. When you examine it, Darren says it's the kind of glass you'd normally be drinking "the hard stuff" out of.
  • 3 of 7: The "hard stuff" refers to alcohol, which is flammable.
  • 4 of 7: Maybe you could turn the glass into a small alcohol candle.
  • 5 of 7: Use the bottle of alcohol on the glass to pour some in, then use the woolen thread on the glass to insert it.
  • 6 of 7: You can now use the matches on the glass to light your primitive little alcohol candle.
  • 7 of 7: Use the blank note papers on the candle to reveal the writing that's on them, then right-click on the papers in inventory to read them.
