How can I fix the garden hose?
1 of 8: Maybe you don't have to fix it. Perhaps you can chop off the damaged part and use one of the two remaining pieces.
2 of 8: After picking the hose up, use the hatchet on it in inventory to get two hose ends.
3 of 8: However, trying to use them on the water tap will reveal that they're both too short to reach the marsh. You'll have to figure out a way to join them together.
4 of 8: There's no hose-mending tape around, and it couldn't adequately join two completely severed hose ends anyway, so look for something that could.
5 of 8: Use the crypt's open sarcophagus to return to the lab area, then look on the right side for a welding set. Examine it a couple of times to see that it works perfectly.
6 of 8: You can't just weld two pieces of hose together, though -- the plastic would melt too much. You'll need to find something made of sturdier stuff that you can join the two hose pieces with.
7 of 8: Look a bit left of the welding set for a small tube that you can pick up. Maybe it could be used to join the hose pieces with.
8 of 8: Use the tube with the welding set to heat it up, then use the heated tube on the two hose ends to get a mended hose.
