Black Mirror III Hints
What do I need to do as Valentina?
of 10: She said she wants to let the archbishop know about the current state of affairs, so you might as well get that done first. (Especially since she won't leave the library until you do.)
of 10: There's a phone near the right side of the screen, so use it to make the call.
of 10: During the call, Valentina will agree to find the secret entrance to the catacombs under the castle, so do that next.
of 10: The secret entrance has an odd keyhole, so your next task is to look for its key.
of 10: If you right-click on the Gordon file you have in inventory, you'll see a mention of Victoria Gordon becoming the new Guardian back in 1923.
of 10: Since she was the Guardian, she undoubtedly had custody of the secret entrance's weird key. Where might she have hidden it?
of 10: Go to her room upstairs and look around.
of 10: Over on the right is a jewelry (spelled "jewellery") box on a small table.
of 10: When you click on it, Valentina will notice that it has a secret compartment. She'll take the box to see if Darren (whom I suppose we should now call Adrian) can open it.
of 10: Exit the bedroom to meet up with Adrian and talk to him. After the conversation is over, you can use the portrait circles at the top of the screen to switch control to Adrian and see what new tasks he has in his diary.
