Black Mirror III Hints
How does the bone-rearranging puzzle work?
of 9: Notice that the photo you took is pinned up in the top left corner of the screen.
of 9: You can click on it to get an enlarged view of it, then click again to put it away.
of 9: The skull has already been put in its place on the altar to start you off. It's the only bone that you can't move around.
of 9: To move another bone, click on it and drag it to where you want it, then unclick to drop it.
of 9: When you drag a bone to where one of its ends is close to an end of another bone, two bright white dots will appear. That indicates you can drop the bone you're dragging to attach it to the one that it's close to.
of 9: There's nothing permanent about the attachments, and you can always pick up one of the attached bones and drag it off somewhere else. That's good, since the game allows you to attach bones together in all kinds of incorrect ways.
of 9: If you get the bones too mixed up and want to start over, with all the bones back in their sorted groups, press ESC to close the puzzle screen, then click on the altar to bring it back up.
of 9: Note that bone pieces can be rotated by right-clicking while dragging them around. Some bones will need to be rotated from their starting orientation in order to fit in where they're supposed to.
of 9: When you get every bone correctly placed, the puzzle screen will fade out. If you've placed every bone and that doesn't happen, you'll need to figure out what you misplaced and correct it.
