Black Mirror III Hints

How can I get the leg bones done right?

  • 1 of 9: Before you start messing with the actual leg bones (top left corner of the altar), you'll need to figure out which two of the four flattish bones at the altar's bottom right corner attach to the bottom of the spine.
  • 2 of 9: Examining the flattish bones, you'll see that two of them (the middle two) are a bit bigger than the other two, and have prominent rounded ends. Those are the ones to attach to the bottom of the spine, as you can verify by checking the photo.
  • 3 of 9: The photo also shows that the two rounded ends need to be next to each other on the bottom (the side opposite the spinal connection). That'll require some rotations.
  • 4 of 9: Rotate both of those bones once each, then put them in position. Once that's done, start placing the four large leg bones.
  • 5 of 9: Check the photo to see that the two thicker bones with no central gaps go on first. Figure out which one goes on the left leg and which one on the right, and how many rotations each one needs. (This is really getting tedious, huh?)
  • 6 of 9: Examining the photo closely, you can figure out how to place the thicker leg bones based on the brown-ish stains that are on them, plus the fact that their two ends aren't identical.
  • 7 of 9: As it turns out, the thick bone that's on the left (in the starting placement) goes on the skeleton's left leg ("bottom leg" from your perspective) after one rotation. The other thick bone goes on the skeleton's right ("top") leg after three rotations.
  • 8 of 9: Once that's done, the lower two leg bones should be fairly easy to figure out. If not, read the next hint for the answer.
  • 9 of 9: The one on the left needs to be rotated once and attached to the skeleton's right (top) leg. The other one needs to be rotated three times and attached to the skeleton's left (bottom) leg.
