Black Mirror III Hints
How does the projector puzzle work?
of 15: First off, notice that the image on the screen isn't changing.
of 15: Look over the controls at the bottom center of the puzzle screen to see a row of six round buttons above two large knobs.
of 15: Look just above each knob to see that they both have three different settings.
of 15: Click on a setting to get the knob to switch to it.
of 15: Examining the settings carefully, you'll see that the knob on the right has settings that look like the standard VCR symbols for rewind, pause, and fast forward.
of 15: Set the right knob to the "fast forward" setting to zoom through the film, then set it to "rewind" to go through the film backwards.
of 15: To adjust the speed at which the film runs, use the knob on the left.
of 15: Its leftmost setting is for the slowest speed, and its rightmost setting is for the fastest speed.
of 15: As for the row of six buttons, they're not going to do anything until you fix the projector's color filter.
of 15: Relower the projection screen, then bring the projector puzzle screen up like you did before.
of 15: Now you can click on the buttons above the knobs to bring up various color filters.
of 15: You can bring up and lower color filters while the film is fast forwarding, rewinding, or paused.
of 15: Note that some color filters can be brought up along with others, and some can't.
of 15: Experimenting with the filters, you'll see that they're divided into two sets. The left three filters (brown, yellow, and green) are one set, and the right three filters (blue, purple, and red) are the other set. You can only have one (or zero) filters up from each set at a time.
of 15: What you need to do is find the right part of the film and use the right color filters with it to reveal the metal box's four-digit combo.
