Black Mirror III Hints

Get the police file.

  • 1 of 13: As your diary will tell you, the first step in getting the file is to get Inspector Spooner out of the police station.
  • 2 of 13: To do that, you'll need to use an old cop clichĂ©.
  • 3 of 13: One that's related to food.
  • 4 of 13: All cops are crazy about donuts (spelled "doughnuts" in this game), right? You'll need to use that to your advantage.
  • 5 of 13: After you get the doughnuts, you'll need to do something with them that'll cause Inspector Spooner to come over to the cafĂ© and spend some time there.
  • 6 of 13: For an idea, click on the large white "chest freezer" and take note of what Darren says about the seal.
  • 7 of 13: He says that if it got wet, the freezer would be impossible to open. How could you use that to your advantage?
  • 8 of 13: What if you were to put the doughnut carton into the freezer and then seal it in? That might get Spooner over here to help open the freezer.
  • 9 of 13: Exit the store room to get a cut-scene, then enter the police station and talk to Constable Zak.
  • 10 of 13: Ask about the police file to learn that the photocopier doesn't work anymore, and it's up to you to fix it.
  • 11 of 13: After you fix the photocopier, talk to Constable Zak about it to learn that he'll make a copy of your police file, but he won't let you have it. He'll only mail it to your lawyer.
  • 12 of 13: Right-click on the letter in inventory to open it up and get the copy of your police file.
  • 13 of 13: Right-click on the police file copy in inventory to read through it and get the "Murray's false witness statement" and "Victoria" tasks.
