Black Mirror III Hints

How can I check on the hotel's portal?

  • 1 of 9: After drawing a line on the map that connects the castle's foundation stone to the hotel, exit the puzzle screen and use the map to travel there.
  • 2 of 9: Use the "path" exit that's to the right of the hotel to reach a jetty next to a river.
  • 3 of 9: Examine the interactive menhir out in the river to get Darren to deduce that the portal must be in the river. Now you need a way to get him out there to investigate.
  • 4 of 9: Notice that Bobby is wading around in the river without any problem. Maybe he could help you out.
  • 5 of 9: Talk to him and offer him the valuable necklace you stole from Phil earlier. That'll get him to run off and leave his waders behind.
  • 6 of 9: When you get the waders from the bench, Darren will notice that Bobby ripped a huge hole in them in his hurry to take them off.
  • 7 of 9: Return to the river and right-click on the waders in inventory to get Darren to put them on.
  • 8 of 9: Examine the interactive menhir in the river again to get him to go out there and look around.
  • 9 of 9: He'll find a dark place in the center of the menhirs, but won't be able to see what it is.
