How can I check on the portal at the academy ruins?
1 of 3: After drawing a line on the map that connects the castle's foundation stone to the northern of the two yellow map markers south of the castle, exit the puzzle screen and use the map to travel to the "crossing in the woods" area that's just east of Willow Creek.
2 of 3: Use the "gravel path" exit to return to the gate area, then use the next "gravel path" exit to reach the old lighthouse.
3 of 3: Its "to ruins" exit will take you to the academy ruins, where Darren will immediately mark off that portal.
