2 of 3: During your interrogation, you can respond any way you want; the result is the same. And remember, you do have the right to remain silent.
3 of 3: After a while, it becomes apparent that Durkin is on your side and will help you out, and we find out why. (That doesn't explain why he was so obstructive in the last game, though.) So it's back to the investigation for us.
