Is there any way I can skip the execution?
1 of 5: If you really want to, yes. But be warned that if you find the execution difficult, you're going to have a hard time with the game itself. I'd therefore only recommend skipping it if you're already familiar with the controls -- for example, if you've already played this game, one of the other Blair Witch games, or the original Nocturne.
2 of 5: You don't have to head for your execution when you're in your cell.
3 of 5: Turn away from the door you're supposed to walk through.
4 of 5: Notice that the back wall of the cell lights up a bit when you face it.
5 of 5: This means you can open it. Do so and then walk through it to bypass the training.
