Blair Witch Volume 1: Rustin Parr Hints
I'm on my way back to town, but I seem to be going around in circles.
of 10: Yes, you are supposed to get lost after you visit Rustin Parr's and Coffin Rock and then leave that section of the forest.
of 10: But if you go to your automap, you may notice that the game still sort of maps out where you are.
of 10: Specifically, it will update the automap to draw places as you first visit them, but it doesn't show your location on that map. (This behavior may be a feature, or it may be a bug -- I therefore can't guarantee that the map will be updated for you.)
of 10: You'll be in the section that's on the lower right of the map.
of 10: Basically, keep heading toward the west side of this section, and you'll be transported mysteriously back to the east side.
of 10: If you keep trying to exit this section, Doc will eventually complain that she seems to be going in circles. This is actually a sign that you're making progress.
of 10: After she complains several times, Doc will see a white owl in front of her.
of 10: Well, that owl seems to be your only hope of getting out of here.
of 10: Follow it, and you'll eventually reach the house of Asgaya Gigagei. Talk to him, and you'll be ready to head home.
of 10: There are no tricks this time -- just follow your now-operational automap back the way you came.
