What do I do in the little side room?

  • 1 of 9: NOTE: The room being referred to is the one behind the fancy locked doors.
  • 2 of 9: Hmm.... The stand in the middle of the room looks important -- and familiar!
  • 3 of 9: It should! You've seen a sketch of it before.
  • 4 of 9: Check William's diary again.
  • 5 of 9: On the last page that William wrote, he drew a sketch of this (or an identical) stand.
  • 6 of 9: Check William's sketch to see what should go on top of the stand.
  • 7 of 9: His drawing of the stand includes a large black sphere!
  • 8 of 9: Now's the time to use that black sphere that you've been lugging around (on and off) since the end of Chapter I.
  • 9 of 9: Place the black sphere on top of the stand.
