What do I do with the altar?

  • 1 of 17: Examine it carefully in close-up view.
  • 2 of 17: That dagger lying on the opened book looks useful, so take it.
  • 3 of 17: Have you noticed the small silver cup with skulls engraved on it?
  • 4 of 17: Also, look around the edges of the altar...
  • 5 of 17: ...there seems to be a narrow channel around the edges of the altar.
  • 6 of 17: This seems reminiscent of ritualistic sacrificial altars.
  • 7 of 17: What would the channels around the edges of the altar be for?
  • 8 of 17: Make sure to examine the dagger in inventory for a description.
  • 9 of 17: Think about what good a dagger could be...
  • 10 of 17: ...especially a ritualistic dagger.
  • 11 of 17: It should be fairly clear that the altar wants blood.
  • 12 of 17: Hmm... Using the blood has made some little holes open up on the altar.
  • 13 of 17: The five gems are now glowing. Notice anything about their color?
  • 14 of 17: What else have you seen with those same colors?
  • 15 of 17: Those five glowing gems are the same colors as the five sacred keys you've spent so much time and effort collecting!
  • 16 of 17: It's time to insert the five keys into their matching locations (in any order).
  • 17 of 17: Just match up the colored bands on the keys with the glowing gems. To make things even easier, the game won't let you put a key in an incorrect slot. (Some endgame puzzle!)
