What do I do in the belfry?
1 of 8: Click around on all the interactive objects you can find.
2 of 8: Look carefully around the big candle on one pillar.
3 of 8: There seems to be an opening of some kind beneath the candle.
4 of 8: When you click on the opening to examine it, Samuel notices that it's the same size and shape as...
5 of 8: ...the strange stone object you spent a lot of time finding and assembling recently.
6 of 8: So try using the stone object on the opening.
7 of 8: Bingo! A secret altar rises up from the floor! And another puzzle has appeared on the altar.
8 of 8: NOTE: It's possible to have gotten this far without assembling the stone object. You'll have all three of the pieces in inventory, so just put them together. If you have trouble finding the third piece, which is a small gem, see the link below.
