What grows larger the more you take away?
1 of 6: Notice that it doesn't say the more of "it" you take away?
2 of 6: What could you take something away *from*, to cause it to enlarge?
3 of 6: Imagine a flat field, consisting primarily of dirt...
4 of 6: ...then imagine taking some of the dirt away.
5 of 6: The answer is HOLE, since the more you take away (of dirt, or whatever), the larger the hole becomes.
6 of 6: NOTE: If you only have three letters on the pillar to work with, then the answer is GAT, which is the Dutch word for hole.
