The Black Mirror Hints
I finally made it to the exit from the mine, but the grate door is padlocked!
1 of 9: You are not going to find a key for this lock.
2 of 9: You're going to have to break the padlock somehow. (NOTE: Be *sure* to save your game at this point. Also make sure to put future saves into different slots, so you don't overwrite a saved game here.)
3 of 9: How are locked doors often opened by people (especially police) who need to get through them quickly, but don't have a key? (When kicking the door open isn't an option, like now.)
4 of 9: Shoot out the lock!
5 of 9: Samuel picked up a revolver and some bullets while searching for the lift engine's schematics.
6 of 9: Initially, the revolver is empty. You'll need to load it with the bullets that were picked up with the revolver.
7 of 9: Click the box of bullets on the revolver in inventory, then click the loaded revolver on the padlock.
8 of 9: Before firing at the padlock, you should right-click on it to get Samuel to notice its weak spot.
9 of 9: It is important to click precisely on the lock itself. If you do not, Samuel will miss the lock, and you will need to try again.
