What do I need and where is it?
1 of 10: You're not expected to have entered with anything that can open the lock, so search around the study for something.
2 of 10: Look for something that could fit inside the lock.
3 of 10: There aren't any lock-picks around here.
4 of 10: Look for an object that can do the same job. Perhaps a knife or knife-like object....
5 of 10: Maybe a letter opener....
6 of 10: If you examine the chess board, you'll see that there's a black rook piece missing.
7 of 10: You can find the missing rook by opening up the roll-top desk and getting a close-up of its contents.
8 of 10: The rook is setting near the left end of the desk, next to a rolled-up parchment.
9 of 10: Take it and then examine it in inventory.
10 of 10: When you right-click on it, a blade pops out! Yes, it's one of those gimmicky letter openers that some people think are so "clever."
